Ok Gents Advice please

Post by delboymafia » Thu Feb 16, 2012 5:53 pm

Hi all, i have got my sensible head on and im thinking of selling the beast, new business may force me to sell  .

I have a 53 plate RS 6 saloon in mugello blue 110k miles, 12 months mot, full service history 90% is with main dealer, all paper work on every bit of work carried out. I purchased the car from my friend who is also on here "morginator". He is even more fanatical than me so it has always been looked after. Any advice please on how much i should be looking for both private and letting a dealer have it. Thanks. Chris.

Put sensible head back in its box and stick with the 6!

Seriously though appreciate its a costly car to run and own but have a look over all those bills and try and justify selling the car for £10k private. I reckon the market will bottom out over the next few years whilst the "dogs" that have been abused by those who can't afford to run them get scrapped - may even start appreciating..... :drink:

Can you live without a c5 rs6 in your life? Many have tried and failed, most of the others get bitter and twisted and post on here trying to slate them and how much they DON'T miss theirs when is obvious they do!

That's my 2p spent then!

Thanks for your reply Marv, i briefly spoke to a Audi stealer and they mentioned £7k, i thought that was a little bit cheeky. Chris.

Defo not the time to sell .. £7k to buy in is about right if they are buying in ..

As its Steve's old car it must be good.

Must be worth more to you than £10k.

You can try and sell it on ph or the forum , i see cars weekly that have changed hands for 12-14k , it's just about timing and getting the right buyer.

List at £10k and be prepared to take £9k or there about's...If you need £10k I'd list it at £10,750...No-one ever pays the full advertised price.
