Has anyone been here? Am i likely to be able to reach top speed on the straight if I go? What's it like...any advice?

The straight is about 1.5 miles long, first half is a slight uphill.

It doesn't make much difference if you hammer it round the bottom corner or launch from the bottom, you'll still get the same speed.

There can be a nasty cross wind from the left when you get past the trees, but it shouldn't really affect a big car like an RS4.

Tape up your wheel arches as stone chips can be a big problem.

You'll unlikely see your cars actual top speed as many are still pulling through the timing beams.

Results below from the last VMAX i attended. The C6 RS6 i believe was the power leader for C6's at that point, but i can't recall its exact output.

Think I pulled 195mph at Vmax in my C6 that dyno'd 778PS/925Nm on a good day.

I wasn't at that VMAX but you did indeed pull 195 however it says 711ps.

Be interested to know what T2 FOO was outputting at the later VMAX?

My car was slightly stronger that T2FOO's on the dyno but nout in it really.

After VMax at the SRS rolling road day I pulled 778/925.

Wind and conditions play a big part at Brunters, I went over 200mph (VBox) many times elsewhere 207mph best.
