The work I had done is definitely worthwhile, it feels like a very different car
The supercharger is something that I'm looking to get done in a few months actually, for now though I just want to enjoy the mods that have been done to it thus far.

Nice numbers, i bet non-res and no cats are pretty bloody loud lol
Also a good thing knowing all is running right, i will get mine up there in a few months too for much the same without the exhaust (just going to gut the downpipes).

Re: Hello & My MRC'd RS4
It is loud and in sport mode, all hell breaks loose. It's nice above 2K revs, but between 1-2K there is too much drone, which is why I'm getting the non-res pipes swapped for resonated ones at MRC soon.

Re: Hello & My MRC'd RS4
Probably a good call Muneer as the non-res does get louder with age. 21 eh? Bro, I don't want to be impolite but a lot of young guys get killed driving cars like these as they give you such confidence. My father was a police traffic officer for 37 years and drove all the new BMWs, Volvo T5s etc and picked up dead people who thought they knew better everyday from road accidents. He died last year from complications resulting from alcohol abuse and stress but before he died he said to me that it was a waste to die on the roads and that seeing people getting killed needlessly for those many years had taken its toll. Be safe out there bro - you have bought a car that will look after you to a point but after that, physics takes over. Basically, when you get it wrong, and we all do at some point, it will go wrong very quickly as you will be at a much higher speed than you would be in a normal car. Keep it chilled buddy, I teach young guys to fly fast jets in the RAF so I see this a lot, I don't mean to patronise - I have a Sprint Blue too,but don't want to see another RS4 wrapped around a tree - take care and use the forum here for support, it is in a class of its own.

Re: Hello & My MRC'd RS4
@TimDogg: Thanks for the thoughts/advice. I completely agree with everything you said there. I know most drivers my age think we know everything and do tend to show off.
Just recently I heard about 2 19-20 year olds local to me, that had passed away due to the driver pushing his new Fiesta ST and his capabilities to more than their limit. He overtook a vehicle on a tight a road (at some speed) and drove straight into a tour bus, full of people. No one on the bus was hurt, but the car was totalled and the driver and his friend both passed away.
Things like this do drive home the fact that all cars out there are machines which can kill, and the RS4 is one which can do this quite easily.
I have a lot of respect for the car and what it can do. I won't lie, I have put my foot down a bit on empty dual carriageways when I'm on my own, but not at any other time as my worst fear is killing somebody innocent, due to my actions.
I've been driving for almost 5 years now without a single accident *touch wood*, but I know I still have a lot to learn and experience, which will come with time.

Re: Hello & My MRC'd RS4
Too true, Since I became a HGV driver my driving has changed as I am soo much more aware of what is around me, the amount of bad driving I see is mind boggling.TimDogg wrote:Probably a good call Muneer as the non-res does get louder with age. 21 eh? Yes I am a reasonably quick driver but that is only because I am always aware of what is around me and drive to the conditions. I was cruising at 40mph (in the truck) on a dual carriageway the other day when temp was -4 the amount of car drivers that passed me doing I reckon 80+ was just silly, black ice and they'd be f**cked.

Re: Hello & My MRC'd RS4
Nice thread, if I wasn't up in Aberdeen, would have been to MRC myself by now.
Surprised MRC said 382bhp was just down to carbon build-up, would have been interesting to see a plot with just the ports cleaned...
OP comes across as very level headed for 21, more than I was at that age, struggle to remember that far back though
