RS6 - VIN location & copy of Owners/Service Manual

Hi all,

After a few months reading through all the good advice thats around on here, am off to see (and hopefully buy) an C5 RS6 on Saturday. I have done my utmost to avoid asking stupid questions with out searching the threads forum for the answer, but have come up short on the below.

1) Where are the VIN tags located?
2) Is there an engine number easily visible?
3) Does anyone have an electronic copy of the Owners Manual?

1) There should be one around the passenger side wipe area, and in the spare wheel well thing, even though there isn't a spare wheel.
2) I believe I've seen mine under the bonnet, could be wrong.
3) There is a workshop guide I printed at work, very useful

Make sure you take a torch and pull the front grills off to see if the intercoolers are leaking, easy check and I think they are about £5/600 to repair so good bargening point.

2) Is there an engine number easily visible? - What do you mean by this?
3) Does anyone have an electronic copy of the Owners Manual? - I can scan mine, but it's big so wouldn't want to do it all. What parts are you looking for?

If you open the bonnet, you'll see the VIN stamped on the bulkhead in the middlish.
