All null and void for you I'm afraid, as far as I can tell, you run a Fisher-price Activity Centre (Read: iMac). You don't deserve to be associated with a Sinclair... filthy scum.

RIght, had enough of all this buying 2nd hand tat and refurbing it malarkey, I have got in contact with somewhere to do a deal on a set of new wheels, already in the right colour, hardly seen on here and sexy as hell in my opinion. I had considered them before but had decided not to spend that much originally, before I realised what a rip 2nd hands ones would really be after fixing them up.

Hoping they can do a deal on a set of 275 width tyres too (ideally sessantas I guess?), but unsure whether to go with 30 or 35 depth on 19's tbh. I have the tyre bible link - http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=89329

Cheers for all the help guys, opinions on tyre depth also appreciated.

Depends on the wheel. I'm going to assume these are 9.5jx19 so you can play with 255/35/19 (stretched) or 275/30/19. I'd recomment the latter. If these are 8.5jx19 then I'd walk away, I'd also not get the Vreds, GY F1 asyms all the way baby.

Don't get the vreds. Stretch the budget slightly can get some good rubber. GY F1 or the Mighty PS2 / PSS.

[Broken record mode on]
The PS2 are superb tyres and you won't believe the grip wet or dry. Also I have done 20k miles on my rears and there is still about 3 or 4mm left on them. Getting ready to change them because I don't like it when they go below 3. Getting cheap tyres is a false economy. Buy cheap, buy twice.

If he could afford a set of hens teeth, he can afford a BC Forged wheelset (lush), although not as light.

Nah, for some thing different check out the BC - HB-04s *drools*. BC - HB-29s are also very interesting and get my vote.

Not going with Dymags and as for those other wheels, if you have to ask how much they are then you probably can't afford them ;). Saying that, you may see some of their rims on their ebay link to get a clue on pricing?? I swear that the one on the left lives up the road opposite. Hell, all 3 of them could as here is full of skanks and teenage baby mamas...

No. But I'm going to have a look at them next weekend. Use the wheel stand up against the car, it's my guess that they'll be way to OTT and more suited to a modern car. They'd look mean at the rear on a Gayhardo or an R8. The fronts won't be anywhere near that concaved though. They should be able to tell if it'll look alright when they figure out how far the offsets can be fiddled. Again, it's my guess is that the fronts will look <beep> and flat, that'll mean it ain't worth it and I'll stick with the HRE's a little longer. Sorry Ben.
