Changes to Brands Hatch Indy layout.

Post by sonny » Mon Dec 19, 2011 11:36 pm

Planning application has been submitted by MSV owners of Brands Hatch to change this iconic circuit by turning Graham Hill bend into a hairpin.

How it will look

Thoughts, think it will ruin the Indy circuit and obviously Graham Hill bend, good semi fast bend coming out of Druids.

Rumour has it too many people running out wide on current layout so this is one solution

why have so many modern circuits got miles of run off? there was nothing wrong with gravel - if you can't keep it on the track then you don't deserve to be in the points! I get so annoyed at the F1 tracks with miles of run-off and allowing then to have all 4 wheels over the so called track limits - gravel beds or concrete walls will soon sort the skilled drivers from the wannabes

Looks like some new work is being carried out to a few of the bends of Druids, GH and clearway exit.. No news on the new layout.
