Looks like lots of people are going to wait till the end for a punt  unless it's all the forum viewers interested in what it goes for.

19 watchers at the moment and a few messages, 1 chap did offer me £200 and a OEM system if I fitted it for him :jump:

ebay is a waiting game

there are actually specific programmes you can use to bid up to a specified figure with literally milliseconds left on the auction giving 'normal' people no chance to counter

Yep it's a shame, should be a system where if someone bids in the last minute it extents the auction by 2 minutes or something to give other bidders a chance to re-evaluate if they want to bid more... like a real auction :?

Would means buyers would possibly lose out on bargains but sellers would get a better deal. I suppose I'm only thinking that as I'm selling though.

Well got woke up by a beep on the mobile this morning telling me someone had bidded at about 6am since then someone else has bidded so far so good.

Got 23 watchers now, at least the reserve is met, someone offered me a price nearly what I'm pretty happy with so it probably won't reach the end of the auction anyway I guess we shall see.

A pity for you Andy, but at least you got a buyer and recouped some cash. Thought that it might go for around £900 to be honest, it's amazing how much such things depreciate in a short space of time.

a 2nd hand exhaust is always worth 50% regardless of whether its 1 day old or 380 days old

I could have told you that at the start

I offered £1k in cash before the eBay listing, sorry to see it didn't make more than that for you.

My new one is being fitted at Awesome GTi this week :-)
