That might not be true but I'm too busy masturbating to prove it.

It's not a bad looking car but in silver?!?! Surely every time you pull up at a set of traffic lights, someone climbs in the back and asks you how much the fare is to Clapham...
:D

why didn't you tell me earlier?

As far as comebacks go - 3/10 (you got a extra point for using 2 clichés). BTW - "masterburbate" - WTF is that? I need to get me some of that, sounds hardcore.

I love to modify cars and I'm well aware that one man's impression of a unique ride is another man's Ripspeed chav chariot. However, I'd much rather own a forgettable car on memorable wheels, than a forgettable car on standard wheels.

I don't get it? Why the abuse towards Steve?

How is it abuse? He's posted a Merc on an Audi forum, and openly called out our cars as inferior. Are you f*cking mad? That's like dropping a red rag into a China shop... full of bulls... that have all drunk too much Red Bull.

bam-bam thanks for pointing out my lsydexia, nope definately did not say the 6 was inferior that's your quote so if the cap fits....seems to me that you are trying a bit too hard. I was just giving my impressions but then again you also believe you are driving a forgettable car in your opinion. So here is something else for you tug away at.

Jay-sus, why is everyone so touchy? You'll need to add comprehension to your dyslexia. You pointed out how much work you had done on your '6 and then made comparisons to not having to do the same on your Merc. You must admit that coming onto the C5 forum burbling on about your nice carefree Merc experiences is a little inflammatory.
I didn't say my CS RS was forgettable, that dig was at your Turkish taxi, swing and a miss, again. I like some Merc's, I kinda like yours but it don't mean I won't make a little fun of it, to you it might seem like I'm trying too hard but always hard, it comes naturally.

Your words not mine. I take the Turkish taxi as a compliment just goes to show reliability. Nothing wrong with my comprehension, yes I can see how I am quoting facts however inflamatory can be upsetting and hurtful (I am sure you will one day mature enough to move on) but at the end of the day they speak for themselves. I have never said I disliked the 6 but you have lost sight that I owned the car and had the hassle. I was asked for pictures so I obliged. When all said and done I am sure the Halfords catalogue deciding on which bit to bolt/ stick on next and cruising down Southend or which ever trading estate is nearest home in your TOWIE mobile will keep you amused for hours long after this thread has died.

To be honest the banter is fun keep it up :assflash: I am sure the ladies lurve your amazing wit and repartee

Nice car. Probably a bit too early to say much about reliability and dealer experience if you've only just got it though

My personal taste is Audi RS if I live somewhere it snows, BMW M car if it's nice weather all year around and Merc AMG if I'm reborn as a pub owner.
B7 RS4 saloon Misano red, comfy seats, JHM tune & JHM full exhaust with cats and resonators - gone.
C5 RS6 Avant Daytona/Cognac - gone.
981 Cayman GTS Gray/Orange.
