I drove around the M25 after an argument with my 'ho recently, I left after she came home drunk at 1am.
I told my mate and he said that people used to 'race' around it when it first opened, trying to get around it under an hour.
Any truth or stories about that?

last time I had an argument with my missus I stormed out in the RS 4 for a spin, only to forget my wallet and when turning on the ignition the fecken fuel light came on!

suffice to say I just parked up somewhere to pro long the effect

that would be a good race .... start at the same junction, but go in opposite directions, then first back to the starting junction ...

only prob would be all the gantry cameras

About 2 - 3hrs. Got home and slept in the naughty bed. There was some stupid quick driving but also a lot of SPECS camera sections. Those overhead gantry cameras work? I've been through some those proper quick!

current law doesnt allow them to prosecute if there is no speed restriction (although some still flash you >85mph)

but its only a matter of time as they are installing them everywhere

Yes mate it was true. I cant remember the name of the event. Funnily I was chatting to a ex copper today about it, he used to do it on his bike.

Iv just renewed my road angel ( 3 year subscription) and its very accurate as to what gantries are working. Example, in the Surrey stretch think from, the M23 jct toward the A3 there are 15 gantries only 3 have camera boxes on them (hidden by signs). The it goes into the VAR limits.

I've done it many moons ago when I used to live in London and SPECS was just someones imagination. Best I could do was approx. 1hr 30 mins. Know bikers that have done it in <50 minutes.
