New (B6) S4 owner from Cape Town

Hi to all and sundry from Cape Town, South Africa...

Since I've finally taken the plunge and bought my very first "S" car in the shape of a 2004 Audi (B6) S4 4.2 V8 Quattro, I've decided to join the ranks on this forum. Not new to Audi though - My previous ride was a 2004 Audi (B6) A4 1.8T multitronic.
I am an active member of the Audi Club of South Africa, also serving on the Committee and heading up the Western Cape region.
In time, I hope to become an active contributor to this forum too... Although, I suspect that the first few months I'll spend my time reading up and learning more about my car first

I only got the car this past Thursday, so no massive mods have been done as yet. I've disconnected the vacuum lines to the exhaust valves, so they are now permanently open - this way I can enjoy the V8 rumble from low revs... The previous ride had some cosmetic mods, which I'll probably do to the new car in due course - nothing too major and nothing that can't be reversed. I prefer the OEM+ look when I start tweaking

I'll spend some time reading what can / shouldn't be done on here, before attempting any mods though!
