whats the ride quality like, say compared to a Rs4 B7....some the journos described its as too hard
I very nearly ordered one to replace our GTI as a daily driver/commuter but the potential of a V hard ride put me off

Driven it for 100 miles over the last 2 days and the ride is perfect!!
Not hard at all. Can't compare it to the RS4 as never owned one. It is firmer than my C5 RS6 but in a good way.
Ignore journos but if you haven't one on order you'll have to buy one in the second hand market. All have been sold for a long time and quite a few people are having to wait until next year for delivery.

More likely Avus Silver (which Monza replaced).
