TBH of all the mods I have done to my RS4 the Hotchkis are best bang for buck.
Re: How long to bed-in Sessanta's ?
Any update Tim?
I've done 300ish miles on mine and they feel pretty good. Not as the old ones did but grippy none the less.
I'm wondering if age is maybe playing a part in this, you know, driving ability being blamed on 'suspect' tyres, 'forgetting' to go on the dyno when Dave 'apparently' called you - not me, putting gravel instead of pepper on your burgers.
Doesn't look good mate.
I'm here if you need to talk.

Must be age I think. We'll never know as he's probably also forgotten his login details to this forum.

Heh, watch what you're saying...... I'm here.... watching you.... always watching !!
Actually, I was going to post about the tyres today. I've now done about 800 miles and yes they're defo feeling better.
But to be honest they're still not as great as my previous Contis. I think the two things I really don't like are their unpredictability (which I get the feeling is heat related) and the lack of road feedback (which is surprising as they are apparently a fairly hard tyre.
Sometimes I can really bang the RS into a corner and the tyres feel great and very positive. Another day.... same corner... no feeling of grip or feedback.
Weird.
Ps.... it wasn't gravel on the burgers....... think Baldrick and his chocolate cappuccino
...... still watching !

Just a thought but have you had your suspesion or alginment checked ?
On my S4 last year it felt realy bad cornering - put it in for 4 wheel alginment and found front lower arms worn, plus the aligment was out - had the lower arms replaced and wheels aligned - sorted it all out.
Plus is your DRC ok ?

I've just ordered 4 Sessantas, due to arrive next Friday, so I'm hoping this is a one-off problem.

Re: How long to bed-in Sessanta's ?
To answer my own question......... 1200 miles, or thereabouts !!
Seem to be sticking better now but can still get the car to drift on tight corners where the Contis would hold.
Very good in the wet, so far.
Snow & ice should be interesting.
Don't know if I'd trust the Sessantas on a track..... which is just as well as I can't make the Ring/Spa trip on the 4th anyway
Ps. Not sure I'd bother with another set.

Track car if you a planning on doing more than a couple a year and how safe you want to be. I am a bit of a woss and like to have a full cage and harness, must be getting old or that I have seen too many accidents that didn't have a cage or harness fitted.
Many best players know some online game. Here useful link:Cheap Tera Gold lotro gold cheap rs gold Tera account

The Pirelli website says:adsgreen wrote:I... want... these... tyres.... <wibble>

Not exactly suitable for everyday road driving, especially with Winter approaching...Pirelli wrote:Specific for racetrack driving, it is approved for road use, enabling travel to the track. In the event of very wet asphalt, with the risk of aquaplaning, prudent driving at reduced speed is recommended.
That size will have a radius 7mm (1.06%) greater than 255/35x19, not enough difference to be problem I reckon.adsgreen wrote:Shame no exact size - coul 265/35R19 fit I wonder
