FS: Gilmour Foamaster II Pro Foam Gun

Post by DazN » Sat Sep 17, 2011 4:40 pm

As stated in the subject.

Bought 2 weeks ago and used once, my wife has just bought me a Karcher and the snow foam gun that goes with that for my birthday, so this is no longer needed. Can prove purchase date with receipt.

Absolutely unmarked and still brand new.

Will sell for a good enough offer

Thanks

Daz

Yes connects directly to the normal hose-lock style hose pipe. Foam is good, not a lot different to the Karcher version but I suppose it will depend on your water pressure.

You can get a Karcher adapter for the Gilmour and TBH whilst I have the Karcher foam (updated grey bottle version with variable foam density dial) attachment it isn't as good as the Gilmour having used the 2.

It's on one of the specialist detailing supplier websites, I'll see if I can find it again. As for the Karcher have you got the yellow or grey bottle version? I have the latter and with Autobrite Magifoam it produces good results, almost on a par with a Gilmour. The yellow one is naff.

I have the Autobrite lance connected to the Karcher and it's good, the Gilmour is on par with it but I don't have the need for 2 guns that do the same thing.

It's now on eBay:-

Mine (Karcher grey bottle) was about £18(?) from Halfords...

No postage charges and you could see it before you bought.

I can't see anything wrong with it for this money and I don't think I could justify buying the £60 one...

I'm presently using "Autoglym Pressure washer shampoo" in it as a pre-wash and it's pretty good... But running low on detergent, SO:

I'm contemplating buying:

Anyone used this? Any good?

Sorry for thread-jacking.
