Cheers Bam Bam

Yeah that sounds about bang on what your saying.
I think the issue Luke had with his was he couldnt get the same concave on the front as the rears because of the brakes.
His are defo 9.5s all round.
It wasnt easy sneaking the 10s on mine

And completely messes up the ride and handling?

As the spring rates and damping rates are nothing like they were designed to be?

Good point, as the camber will change, but for show use I suppose its great. How does the car handle when you push it? would you take her on the Ring? (theoretically speaking)

The camber is set to the ride height that you choose to set it as your daily ride height.

So when you slam it you are not driving it.

And petrol dave, have you been in a car with this,it handles easily as good as stock, but its pointess me saying this as
you seem to already know better.

I will take mutantfatcat out in it and he can tell you,or infact any others who i should meet on my travels for a test drive.

And Sonny,i wouldnt take it round the ring as i'm to much of a girl and would worry about getting even more stonechips

I think this summarizes it nicely. Basically it's horses for courses, Hikes likes to slam his cars, Sonny likes to track his cars, for some people it's a daily drive and others just like to polish it for the weekend. We all have one thing in common, we are enthusiasts (but in our individual way :) )

I guess 6 years working with one of the best ride & handling development teams in the world at a major car manufacturer does give me some "preconceptions"...

Exactly Phil, i ablsolutely love Audi's have done for years and dont see it being any other way in the future.

I love the RS4s both B5s and B7s, I drive them hard without tailgating as still believe a show car is to be used and enjoyed,if
not i may aswell buy a diesel version.

Ok not everyone is overly keen on what i do,but i do take alot of pride in what i do and i do try to push the limits without ruining
an iconic car imo.
Most mods can be reversed so no issue there, but at the end of the day its my car and my choice.

Watch the space, theres alot more to come, although at a slower rate :beerchug:

And a massive thanks to everyone for all your input, especially the good stuff

You ignored my reply that I'm NOT just an average "Joe Public" when it comes to assessing cars.

Yes, I HAVE been in a car with your setup as part of a back-to-back test at a proving ground - and it's chalk and cheese. The OE car had much more controlled damping with much less overshoot, much less roll when cornering, much less dive when braking, much less tail squat when accelerating,... I'm not going to go on any more.

Ok,well you obviously do know what your talking about,I suppose
We could just go round in circles.
Air is also like coilovers,so many different types to cater for
Differnt uses and price budgets.

You can't say you have driven something with my set up as it has
Only just been released. Was it rayvern,hav-air,bagyard
Sepremes with bilstein struts,or airlift system etc etc.

I suppose we will just have to disagree,Imo opinion I can achieve
The look I want and still have a car that great fun to drive

Cheers
