Another great day down that lovely 2 mile strip! A very wet morning served up plenty of sideways action off the start line and the strong tail winds down the main drag seemed to be enjoyed by all those driving, emphasis on the words 'those driving', it was bloody freezing standing there! Thanks go to Tim for taking me and my mucker on few hot laps of the grounds in his new CSL- exhaust note inside the cabin is totally sweet, just a shame about that limiter hey Tim, also to Richard (viant) from PH for the lap in his 360 (speed trapped at 176mph which he said was the fastest he had ever ran in it! (Don't know if he had done a faster run by the end of the day?) Car of the day was split between the Brabus and the Lambo Murco, Lambo won in the end being the fact that I'm far to young and haven't got a deep tan and well groomed moustache for the Brabus (Ken, your going to need to grow a moostafa mate if you want one of those). Moment(s) of the day was watching the TreVoRs fall to pieces, one of them blew it's motor and another one lost it's entire rear windscreen at 160 as it was passing the timimg gear, bet that suprised him!!!!!! Funniest moment of the day had to be at lunch break sitting watching my mate Scott trying to get off the site in his 840 bmw, he somehow ended up doing a lap on the go-kart track after thinking he'd spotted an exit by doing a quick short-cut under the 747 jumbo-jet.

RS4john where were you??

Another good day there. As the Terrorist has pointed out, some highly exotic machinery present. Murcielago looked stunning, but couldnt help noticing the front lights were both chock full of condensation. Not clever on a Focus, never mind £180k's worth of exotica.

Had some fun when the circuit dried exploring the prodigious handling abilities of the CSL on the twisties, but runs up the straight always ended in a high speed cruise for the last 300 yards on the restrictor, with engine power only becoming additionally available when the ECU detected a few MPH had been shed from Vmax. Consistently went through at approx 160mph actual, with around 170 showing on the clock. zzzzzzzzzzz.

Dont think the results have been supplied yet, but I reckon the Ruf R-Turbo (absolutlely stonking motor) went fastest. Chap was telling me he had seen 209 on his speedo, with his GPS showing 200, but the timing gear may tell a different story.
