Tv tuner removal

Hi there,

I have a question which I expect has been answered but just can't find it:

I have a 54 C5 RS6 with RNS-E and tv tuner and need to remove the tuner to wire in the AV inputs. There are 4 screws holding it in to the cage and two small slits (about 8x1mm) in the front of the tuner itself. 

Do I have to mess about removing the whole cage to get the tuner out? I assumed I'd be able to remove a couple of securing screws and slide it out or use a couple of dash mount head unit removal prongs to get it out. Maybe the screws just hold the sliders in place: I just can't tell. 

If anyone knows I'd really appreciate any help as would really rather not have to take the whole cage out just to plug something into the back of the tuner.
