Just had the call from Audi (Sytner Nottingham). Audi UK have refused to pay for the repair but the dealer will foot the bill as a goodwill gesture. Implication was that goodwill was available because the car had FASH.

You can order a new mirror mounting bracket separately, have ordered one today for £46inc vat. Will be nicer finish than having existing one rubbed down and painted.

Also got this one mine. Since Ive just purchased it the dealer (Huddersfield) has agreed to replace it FOC.

Maybe worth doing the same we did on the DRC issues - if enough people have the issue then surely Audi have to listen ?

Just had mine replaced by dealer good will (Agnews in Belfast). So well pleased.
