Depends if you use the button in the filler inlet or not, that lets you get another 7+ litres into the tank - which would add >£11 to the cost.

paying AU$1.45 per litre for 98 RON fuel here in Perth, Australia.

So our fuel cost is around 0.68 of yours?

Plenty written about this already but there is a nodule in the left hadn side of the filler neck; if you pull or push it then it is a tank air release valve and gets you a few extra litres in. That's why although the book says 63 litres the relaity is that it is a 70 litre tank, hence why I have managed to put in 67 litres and not having run out.

Is that the furthest you've pushed it? I usually bottle it when DIS shows <5 miles range.

Nope I have reached 29 miles and then a bit of a splutter with fuel pump cutting out. Had a petrol can on board so I could experiment how far the car could go before cutting out.
