Gearknob

Post by alex020869 » Mon Jun 20, 2011 4:45 pm

On a bit of a mission detailing my car. Noticed that my gearknob has a few scratches on it from maybe a ring. Anyone know a way of removing them. The gearknob may even need rubbing down to remove them all completely but I'm not sure of which paint and laquer to use. Anyone any ideas??

The outer chrome gaiter pulls up, under the gear knob is a crimp, this needs to be undone then it should slide off.

I had a small scratch on my gear knob, Audi quoted me around £240 for a new one. :boohoo:
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar
