TUBI VS MILTEK

Post by RS4KARIM » Tue Jun 21, 2011 1:04 pm

Hello All RS4 Car Owners,

I need your advice on what exhaust system to purchase. I own an RS4 Avant 2008.

Thank you all!

Hey what about Capristo? very very expensive!! Very very very loud

Tubi Rumore very loud = awesome!

Milltek non-resonated valved system - best overall (although still quite expensive) you can switch between loudish and louder settings. Most people have this set up

Milltek non -resonated non-valved -as above but no changeable settings

Milltek resonated valved/non-valved is a quiter version of above!

Best visit YouTube for sound clips!

Then you will hunger for what type of sports CATs you want......;-)

National Gathering is going to be the best place to sample a number of different systems from Tubi, Milltek and others in various stages. Get yourself signed up. :beerchug:

I recently purchased a Milltek non-res catback (non-valved)

OEM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq-FxKNQPeA

The milltek is very nice, but in my opinion (and the wife's!!) its still not loud enough

Milltek: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34x-IKhWCMM

I'm hoping to do some downpipes (and the necessary reflash) in the near future.

the Tubi is more expensive, but if DP and reflash is not needed, then proably works out a hell of a lot cheaper over all.
