I think, you have never seen an Audi RS8? I had not, so I decided to build one. The work is still in progress, but it is now a fully functional, and I drive it every day. The work was more difficult then expected... The electrics, and conversion to manual has not been easy. But I do have a unique car. During this summer I will do an upgrade, and expect 650-700bhp.

Is there anyone that knows about a similar build?

I bought a complete engine from 2003 RS6. MTM helped me with the electronics to get it started, and accepting the manual gearbox. The wiring and some of the mechanical work has been made by their collegues at Dahlbäck Racing in Sweden. I´m working with a complete rebuild of the interior. The project has been expensive, and I think the repaint have to wait until next year.

Within 3 weeks I will install new turbos, that allows, as I mentioned about 700bhp

Actually, I think the weight is less then the RS6. It is, and will stay debadged. If interested, tell me how to add pictures, and I will show more.

I've been looking over on RS6.com for a while now and TozoM8 has one. This from his sig "01' black on black twin turbo S8 6 speed manual, RNS-E, Passport SRX". I'd say it'd be tip top, he's the master of manual conversions and GB rebuilds stateside.

This weekend I have installed new, hybrid KKK´s. When the original conversion was made, we also uppgraded fuel, clutch etc. This means, that with a remap, it is now possible for me to get 650-700bhp

Hopefully the testdrive is tomorrow, I will keep you updated.
