Might I suggest this one...
One prepared earlier...
That said, I do really like this font, sans the door knocking balls of course...

bam_bam: Give it a break, your opinion isn't the only opinion and it isn't the right opinion (there's no such thing as the right opinion), it's just your opinion.
Is this forum becoming more childish? Or am I just getting an even grumpier, even older git? Or a bit of both...

I'm currently working with a guy who gets paid £50k per day to give his opinion and even he's not always right. [PS - I'm not paying the bill!]PetrolDave wrote:bam_bam: Give it a break, your opinion isn't the only opinion and it isn't the right opinion (there's no such thing as the right opinion), it's just your opinion.

It's my opinion you're a grumpy old git and my opinion is always 100% correct for me.PetrolDave wrote:bam_bam: Give it a break, your opinion isn't the only opinion and it isn't the right opinion (there's no such thing as the right opinion), it's just your opinion.

Dave, the only thing I offer on this site IS opinion and I take every word written on said site AS opinion, even if it is fact, I'll take that as opinion because it's written and collated by 'someone'. Dave, I'm the very last person you should start preaching the opinion sermon to, if you try, I'll agree with every single damn word you say, brother.
Hallelujah, TESTIFY!
No matter where you go, there you are.

Re: v8 wing badges or not?
The North American RS4's come with them from the factory, however I removed mine today. I went a step further and also removed the RS4 badge on the rear as well. Next will be to remove the RS4 badge on th grill. Car looks so much cleaner.
Re: v8 wing badges or not?
As said above US spec cars came with the V8 winf (fender) badges.
In the UK, it was the lowly B7 S4 that had the V8 wing badges.
Not for me, but each to their own.
I think the V8 badge people liked is a Land Rover. Fitted to the LR3 V8 for the US market - or Discovery 3 here (Think the V8 D3 was last availiable in teh UK in 2005)

Re: v8 wing badges or not?
Further badge adornment is not needed on this car. They offer no aesthetic value at all & I doubt any1 can truly claim a car looks better with badges than without (unless of course a car exists that has the badges as a core element of the design).
First thing I did was debadge. I was even considering painting over the calipers because I wanted it totally clean. V Happy with the results.

Nah, not really. A heatgun or hairdryer for about 2-3mins to soften the badge adhesive, then using some dental floss slice through the adhesive. Afterwards use some tar & glue remover to clear any leftover adhesive on the paint. Job done!edge wrote:I think I will do the same!

Re: v8 wing badges or not?
I did find the "R" badge with the red accent/sticker on the rear trunk lid to be the toughest of the bunch. Just keep working at it and she comes right off. Careful not to apply too much heat though!edge wrote:I think I will do the same!
