RS4 anti-roll bars - worth it on an S4?

Hotchkis bar is greased. The mounts even have grease nipples built into them

Also, thread locker in the clamp bolts is a good idea.

I bought some specially but the garage used their own.

I remember trying to do a quick manoeuvre round a 90 degree bend like I was in an Impreza before I got the RARB fitted. It was terrible - although the S4 feels tight at lower speeds, it felt like a capsizing barge (it was just after overtaking an M5 so I must have looked a dick).

I tested out the cornering with the RARB properly for the first time the other week by navigating 180 through a roundabout at speed - I think it went through just as quick as my Impreza but with less body roll. Impressive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the B7 S4s use the same (thickness) RARB as the RS4s (also B7)?

I can confirm that the B7 S4's have the same 22mm RARB as the B7 RS4's.. as i found out when my local VAG specialist spent half hour getting the old bar off, put it on the floor next to the new one and noticed they are identical

I've heard people say the B7 S4 has the same part as the B7 RS4 but then I've also heard people say they've tried to upgrade only to find the previous owner already did it.

I guess the best way is to compare the part numbers on VAGCat or something (although is it possible they could be the same thickness but the RS4 one longer, resulting in a different part number?).

I sold my B6 with it on so I'm sure there's many people thinking "these don't understeer lie Clarkson said they did"
