It wasn't the first incident of eye-gouging and I strongly suggest you completely avoid them.
Oh THEM! I used Finchley twice in my stupidity (and laziness as they are the closest to me). They had me in a loan car for two weeks trying to figure out why my suspension was making a noise, even tried to charge me for the petrol they used test driving it but still couldn't figure it out after two weeks, they gave up. A trip to MRC and three minutes later it was found to be the helper springs, fixed instantly.
Second time I asked for my worn rear brakes to be changed to the cross-drilled type and new pads put on. 3 days later (waiting for parts), they tried to fit the discs... "nup, they won't fit mate". I was told "your car ain't a Plus spec, you need stanard brakes", so I said "you're fucken clowns and you're wrong". When in at MRC, had cross-drilled discs fitted in next to no time at 20% less cost.
Me "how'd those discs go on Big Dave?" Big Dave said "popped 'em straight on, no worries". How can Audi trained tech's get it so wrong?
Never again will I go to Finchley OR Guildford OR Docklands OR Essex. Only Camberly, MRC and Grizz (Unit 20).
Rant. Over.
