Car thieves are back in RS4 land

Just to let you owners in west yorkshire know specially technobod & chris the Black RS4 you spotted in Otley was taken by 4 masked car bandits with base ball bats last week [img]images/graemlins/rocketwhore.gif[/img]. Apperantly waiting for him when he came home [img]images/graemlins/jawdrop.gif[/img](See last weeks T&A). It seems the bunch that like trying to steal RS4s in this area have finally perfected there routine and managed to procure an RS4 at last [img]images/graemlins/033102bad_1_prv.gif[/img]. An RS6 went missing a couple of weeks ago locally but was found quickly due to tarcker being fitted [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img]. After MW experience and my own a few years ago it makes ownership of this fantastic car something to not take lightly and get yourself some decent security or a Big dog [img]images/graemlins/062802beat_prv.gif[/img]. The owner was not hurt but as he doesnt seem to use this forum thought I would let you know and hope he gets his car back in one piece [img]images/graemlins/3flypigs.gif[/img].

Mine was stolen jan.03 whilst i was a sleep in bed, broke in got keys and took car. fitted with Trackstar but complete waste of time, didn't work.

Makes you wonder what the hell they'll do with a black RHD car - it's not as if there's many of them - hard to pass off and pretty traceable you'd think...

Probably just use it for a robbery. Black RS4s don't exactly stick out like a red/blue/yellow one would.

iirc the RS6`s came with Tracker as standard.... some RS4 owner`s may have had them installed when they bought the car, PDI.
