Cheers, looking forward to it, watch out for the netherly road, loads of very deep pot holes. Not good for our rims.

Anyone fancy meeting up in johnshaven or stone haven, then drive through for the meet. Will take camera for hd video and photos

Given the route some thought and initial plan is to meet at Crathes Castle Sunday 13th march from 1045 with intention of leaving at 1130
Those of us heading up from the 'south' will meet 0945 at Mcdonalds car park ( Forfar by-pass) and head up to Crathes from there. Aberdeen guys can arrange to meet up and come out together or just go along to Crathes by yourself.
The cafe is open so coffee would be available before setting off, also good to have an indoors option if its pi55ing down.
The route will go along the A93 to Braemar, over past the Glenshee Ski cente, then about 6miles south of the Spittal of glanshee, turn left down to the Glenisla road,(B951) eventually terminating at the Finavon hotel for a late lunch. I was in there on Sunday checking it out and it was good food (I'm fussy!) and very reasonably priced. We will/should stop somewhere for a 'scenic' photoshoot and could decide possible locations over coffee at Crathes before we set off.

Those of us travelling up to Crathes will already have done the last part of the route (up over the Cairn 0' mount) on the way to the start at Crathes earlier in the day so we will leave the Aberdeen group after Finavon.

I will also PM all the people on the list with the final confirmed details of everything.

Sounds good to me 22B.

For those heading in from Aberdeen, anyone fancy meeting up at Asda Garthdee and convoy run to Crathes along the SDR?

That would be great, what time would you like to meet up at Asda Garthdee?

If we've to be at Crathes from 1045 onwards I'd suggest we want to be leaving Asda just after 1015-ish.

So say we meet at the lower end of the carpark at about 0945, that will give us time for introductions and a McDonalds breakfast?

I bide in Stoney too, but sadly no RS4 yet due to a few unforeseen circumstances "coming up". However, I am still spotting them going by and getting pretty jealous due to me having to wait for a wee bit. I will have one this year, but would be keen to tag along if I can blag a seat. I am on stand-by for going offshore, so might not be going about, but if I am, then does anyone have a seat for me? Will chip in for fuel...... :bigblink:

Good point! Just seen the forecast for the next couple of days,- not so good!

Maybe I'll better make up a 'Plan B' route that doesn't go over such high ground as well.

Hey, new to the RS4 family and living in Edinburgh. Got inspired by a Daytona Avant that crawls around outside my house in central Edinburgh, so went got me a daytona sedan a couple of weeks ago, only because my gf wrote off my mirca of course...
Anyway, not sure I can make a meet on the 13th, but am well up for a meet sometime in the spring.
how often do these things happen?
I like my photography too, so up for taking a few pics of the cars..

This is first Scottish one as far as I'm aware but hopefully we'll have more. If you cant make it along to this one, there is an Audi SRS meet( not sure if there's a run though) on the 27th at the Famous Grouse experience in Crieff. I'll prob go along to that too, I could do with some company as there were not any B7's there last time except mine. Lots of older cars there, B5 RS4's, original quattros, S2's etc.
