Just for referenec as mine has just had MOT and service and could be a while before I need it back in for anything.
Just picked mine up, 8 new packs but no invoice sorry! Everything I had done today was under warranty or good will so is logged with Audi but I have no paper work.

Same here, took mine in today to replace a drivers window switch under warranty and they said they needed to do the coilpacks on a recall. Had to leave overnight as they didn't have the part in stock.

Serial Number of the coil packs.

Does this recall / service notice apply to cars out of Audi warranty (and does it apply to V8 S4's?)

Mine goes in this week too, definitely a workshop action. I was told this was only issued to the dealers Friday, so I was pleased to be told about so quick. Halesowen Audi seem to be quite pro-active.

Just had the call back - max 1 hr to do the work. Whether it needs doing does not depend on the type of car of the year apparently. My dealer has mostly changed them on TTs and 1.8 A4s but sometimes only 2 or 3 coilpacks need changing depending on the serial number. He thought it was only on cars >3 yrs old but was a bit vague TBH.

Mine is getting done Thursday.
