MTM stage 1 - Taking the plunge

Post by kozmos » Tue Feb 17, 2004 4:14 am

I've done my due diligence and I've finally decided on the MTM chip. They offer the best customer service support where I live and I'm satisfied with the reviews on their product. And in case something goes horribly wrong, I can always reverse the process easily.

Apart from upgrading my TBB and DVs, is there anything else I should be upgrade to cope with the increased power/torque?

If you're car is an older one, you might have an f-hose to check.

You might also consider uprating the brakes!
2001 Silver S4 Avant
AmD remap, APR R1 DVs, APR bipipe, Full Miltek exhaust
H&R coilovers, AWE DTS, Porsche front brakes, Short-shifter, 18" RS4 replicas
Defi-HUD boost gauge / turbo-timer (with afterrun pump modification), Phatbox

I've checked and my car doesn't have a f-hose (2001 MY)

Stoptech brakes / Bilstein-H+R combo are sitting in my garage, and will get it installed next week.
