LOL just spotted that .. I guess thats my Sepang Blue Colour then :?
Cheeky g1t!! But Black is faster!! lol

Agree with all that's been said however....

I'm driving a 2t estate, drop dead sexy in my eyes but worst nightmare to the uninitiated!!
Needs a map to overcome the weight BUT are we all not asking to much v hypercars? when a straight map gives 20+% hp gain to 700bhp+ with performance never imagined, just enjoy!!!!

like Nige just said..... with over 700bhp you wont mind a bit less steering feel compared to a lamborghini....but its not as bad as some like to make out, it is a drivers car in my opinion and it does handle very nicely indeed...but then again it depends how you drive it...it will do a nice oversteer slide away from the lights if you turn off esp and floor it with some lock on. ie. rwd feel.

its a great looking car in reality much better than photos show and have found it gets a lot of attention from other road users but in a nice way that makes you feel like you're in something special. Mine is a babe magnet....but then again its got me at the wheel ! lol :smile_smoking:

I'm just not using the power, and it remains a slightly better looking A6 Estate.
The RS4 I had was far better as regards handling, but then it would be.

The RS6 is 'point and squirt', rather like the 911 Turbo, that can quickly become dull.
Within 2 months people want a miltek, or chip upgrade...why....because of the lack of handling and character.

The C5 was actually more fun. More 'Power' is not the answer.....I'd have one over the AMG Merc however...they look simply awful.

I'm on my second one!

Absolutely love them, my first was one of the first in the country (2008) and my latest is one of the last (Dec 2010)!

Tried other cars before I bought the latest one, but nothing comes close, fuel a bit of an issue, but I prefer to look at it as smiles per gallon, rather than miles per gallon!

And there's not many cars that (unmodified) will easily see the wrong side of 200mph in the rain (German Autobahns of course)!

The RS6 C6 is a phenomenal car. I loved mine and regret that I didn't keep it.

Don't know about the loadluggers, but you would honestly not believe the amount of stuff you can fit in a saloon boot. It amazes me every time.
Pros - good, sensible family car with safe overtakinng ability. You get the nod and smile from 'people that know'. We have even been video'd (not by plod) and photos taken by people just driving along.
Cons - none whatsoever. Weigh up fuel+servicing+tyres+depreciation and they still come no where near the price of a beaming smile.
Pro - it is not an E63AMG so will not cost a mortgage to service and try to kill you as soon as it is mildly moist and also not an M5SMG so doesn't dislocate your back at low speeds.
Con - looking down at the speedo and not realising that you are doing....well....lets just say.....a mile or two above national speed limit
Pro - not many around unlike M5's
Con - You just want to always take it out - and "just go out for a drive"
Pros - E63 & M5 drivers look sideways out of their eyes, grimmace and decide to turn off
Cons - doesn't come with Stinger DSI as standard.

Is there a thread on detectors?

Great replies, notice that the fuel "issue" is overcome one way or another!

To be honest I already really liked the C5, and nearly bought one.
At the time the running costs seemed to be absurd, but the new one seems to be better from I have read, except for the fuel, but that is peanuts for the performance at hand.
