Hi Guys,

I've sorted myself out a standard system from MRC Tuning in Banbury, so who ever is interested in my chrome / resonated / valved / cat back system, pm me an offer. After more investigation I've been guided £900 for the aforementioned, so the best offer close to that wins.

FYI, I've booked in two slots at MRC this Sat at 12pm, so whoever wins the best bid will have to meet me there to sort out the money and have the Millie fitted to their car.

Sorry for doing it this way, but I've had a lot of interest. I will let the lucky person know by midday tomorrow.

Cheers

I'm still not sure whether you're selling the full system or just the cat back part. Like others have said in the RS4 forum, you're probably getting as much noise from the sports cats are you are from the quietest (i.e. res / valved) Milltek...

I know, but he initially though he only had cat back - "From the paperwork it's a cat backed, valved system (I think, as I'm new to this)"

Now that the OP has established that he has 200 cell cats, I'm not sure whether he's looking to lose them...

Dom, if you read his most recent post on this threat where he mentions MRC booking, he clearly states only the cat back

Hi Guys,

Just had a standard standard exhaust fitted at MRC and for the record, it's a lot quieter - job done. Oh and it posted 435.4PS on the Dyno - sweet!

I've kept the 200 cell downpipes and when the Millie was originally fitted it was re-mapped. Apparently the guy before me took it to MRC and had the ports and manifold drilled/cleaned, which did it the world of good.

Good combination, I ran 200cell cats with my OEM exhaust.

Interesting point... I have a set of sports cats waiting for me at MRC, was going to wait till have the full system then map it. So as an alternative, could I stick with oem exhaust and then sports cats / map ...would this be a good combo what would be the gains and differences with this conbo over a full system.

Cheers 8)

Yep I ran it for around 8 months. The connection between the cats and the cat back is not the best so has to have a sleeve joint, but still good if really tightened. Sound was OK, bit raspy, and performance felt good.
