Service Timing

Post by Petoir » Sun Feb 15, 2004 11:48 am

Hi,

My RS4 is booked in for end of the month, for 34k service. But the service warning has come on a little earlier than expected. How many miles can you go over the mileage without voiding the warranty? I think I may do about 60 miles between the light coming on and getting the job done. Other cars I've had this has been fine, but wondered if Audi are stricter? BTW it's on the variable service thing, which I'll be changing, but hence the warning coming on earlier than usual.

Ta,

Pete

1000 miles i think.
Too much is bad.
Plenty is better.

Cheers.

Are you the same Tarmac that used to post on the Lancer Forums?

It says in the service / warranty handbook. From memory (I don't have mine here) it's 1000 miles or 1 month. But don't rely on my info without checking it...

Cheers, Richard.
