The solution is to use it sparingly, get a run around, thus keeping miles low aswell
Simples!!

Which is fine unless you're on tour almost permanently, like me.
I tried keeping an S2 at home while touring with an A4 2.0 Tdi Quattro, but got really bored of that and realised how seldom I'm at home.
Hence the RS4....

I'm seriously thinking of selling, i've had 3 years of virtually trouble free motoring, but now i need 4 new tyres, maybe pads and discs plus any other problems that may crop up and i think these continual fuel tax rises will put a lot of would be buyers, off our cars and i can see values plumetting!!!
I can see me spending thousands of pounds this year and i'm thinking, i've had my fun, enough is enough i'm afraid.................

Victor, you've just said it yourself though, 3 years of virtually non existent spending on the car. 4 new tyres, £800; pads all round £220; brand new discs £1000 front and rear; so in reality £2k.

On a performance car that is nothing or to put in perspective a non-res valved Milltek.
