should give small gains 20 bhp'ish ?!? sounds should be changed for the better but mainly its a start as i am getting milltek exhaust and dahlback cone filter and a re-map

MOT time cats can be put back on, or see a good friend at mot test station and get him to back his vectra on to the emissions computer

Do you have to have it remapped when you put the new pipes on? Just that mine has already been remapped...

Can you just cut the CATS off and put a straight thru pipe? Does it require any re-mapping. I dont want to re-map but need to know for future. Sure my car has had leaded fuel in it,s lifetime. I hear the lead blocks the cats quickly. Thought removing will be less restrictive

MOT time if the cats are not removable/replaceable my mot man wont get me a pass. covering his back i think, so i opted for the de-cat pipes which can be reversed with ease

If you take away your cats and/or change the pipe you dont need to do a remap. After all MAF measures the airmass engine sucks and by that info engine gets the fuel it needs.
If you have changed your pipe (I recommend BN-pipes) and are de-cating it, be warned that noise levels will raise a fair bit (It'll get NOISY, that is). But the sound will be so good that you will love it...
