You can block the return pipe... BUT still the ECU won't know what the f**k is going on when your car vents air it thought it had metered through the AMM... your car WILL run rich on every gear change and your car WILL idle crappy.

i have done it tim its a waste of time, main prob is running just goes crap

just get an uprated recirculating dump valve

An HKS blow-off valve on an RS2. I have to say it; this is sacrilege! And an externally venting one at that. There are no advantages unless you consider a sqeaking multiple cough between gearchanges to be of some benefit. An internally venting uprated DV is all that is needed. Good luck.

can you not order one over the internet from the UK or US and have it sent to you?

the 710N DV used on the later S3 engines is more than suitable for most engines unless very highly tuned

Greg;
i had that s3's one on the car, my real problem is my mechanics reaily dont understand what is happening.they told me that valve is not holding boost,i changed it with s3's and they told me n75 i replaced that one also, now they say ecu .Last time i heard from them they were trying to fix ecu. i am very busy with my business these days and i cant even see my car ,i left it with them last week.i decided not call them,may be they call me someday and tell me that its fixed..
by the way i have several n75 and dv (s3-rs2) valves...

The RS2 has been in the paint shop all week being resprayed. I wanted the bonnet & front bumper done as there were numerous stone chips. Also had a couple of car park dings repaired down each side. Also the tailgate was a slightly different shade of silver following a previously documented respray done by a certain main dealer in Sloane Square when the car was only six months old and their demonstrator. So in the end I was getting the front bumper, bonnet, wings, both sides & the tailgate redone it seemed a shame not to have the roof redone too
Don't get the wrong idea the car was in pretty good condition before, but had lived most of its 9 year life being parked outside on a street in London.
Anyway now the paintwork is perfect sitting in my garage protected from the elments and I am a little poorer

Hi Glyn

Can't wait to see the piccies of your car in all its glory.

Wish my car would fit in the garage - don't think it was built for a proper car :-(

Stone chips are a pain aren't they - the front bumper seems to attract them like a magnet.
