They split about 4 years ago, now the VW and Audi outlets in Camberley are totally separate locations - but still both owned by Colbornes.

..that rings a bell, remember the Sprint Blue RS4 saloon with MTM supercharger? Well I am sure he was part of the family that owned Colbornes - sold the business but continued to work there.
Might explain the quality of service for RS4 owners (or I might be completely wrong!)

I took my RS4 in for its service, initially was told by girl i couldn't come along for a while u wait service ( No courtesy cars available). Took the hump and emailed service manager expressing my dissapointment given how many good things Id heard about camberley audi on here.

Had a call from Rob, within an hour, booked in for a while u wait service.

Turned out my front L+R DRC was knackered, but they had an A4 saloon courtesy car that was available for breakdowns. Unfortunately, I was meant to be going mountain biking in wales that weekend, and the A4 didnt have roof bars.

Rob then came back and offered the managers Q7 for the weekend!

Top service, very helpful throughout, and actually enjoyed driving the Q7. When I get the RS4 out of my system, id certainly consider a Q7, something I would never have done before.

Wouldnt hesitate to take it back again for further work

Camberley Audi are getting a new RS4 in for sale soon. I've just been emailed the details as I enquired with them before I finally bought my RS4 from Slough Audi.

Spec is: Audi RS4 Misano Red, 42,000 miles, DVD Nav, TV, Adaptive lights, CD Changer & Aluminum inlays

No price was indicated but if anyone is on the lookout for an RS4 then call them up! I've already bought mine so am just passing this pre-release info on.

birdseed you seem to have had great service,it makes refreshing reading! They went a little out of there way to help give awesome service but it has left you very happy and telling everyone about there good service and got you pondering staying with the brand for a Q7 im sure you would give them first dibbs at sourcing you one when the occasion arrises? What goes around comes around!

I'd like to add my positive experience to this thread too.

On a cold, snowy Monday morning I drove to Camberley Audi for a 4-wheel alignment and a software update to SW0090 because of cold-start issues. I had made the booking through Rob Chorley a couple of weeks ago.

Executive summary: Camberley Audi: 10/10, Rob Chorley: 11/10.

I was greeted by Rob and he even made me a cup of coffee. He is clearly a car enthusiast and explains everything really well. Rob provided regular updates on how the work was progressing as I opted for a while-u-wait service and, at payment time, even surprised me by reducing the cost of the 4-wheel alignment! The software update was carried out under warranty.

Rob showed me to my car, which was washed and vacuumed free of charge for me.

Rob's friendly persona rubber-stamped my decision to use Camberley Audi for all of my servicing needs. I have read a lot about the Camberley experience on here, but to experience it personally has blown me away. Rob is a legend! He really ought to be on commission simply due to the word-of-mouth recommendations that he generates for Camberley Audi.

^ I totally forget about the rear washer issue! LOL. I'll get that seen to another time, under warranty. It works but it's just not very powerful.

Mines in today for service and MOT. Just heard that I've got the DRC leaking on all 4 corners. Just waiting for the warranty approval (my cars 4 years old, 49k and FASH). It's my first visit to Camberley so hopefully will be better than Slough (crap). I'll post my comments when I get my car back.

Can i suggest you all e mail Jeremy Hicks (?) at Audi telling him what a fantastic job Rob at Camberley does for you ?

He'll appreciate getting praise about one of his dealerships for a change, and it won't do Rob any harm either, he'll really appreciate it !!!

Thoughts ?

The only problem would be if Rob wanted to remain under the radar, for whatever reason! Someone email him first and ask?
