Finally....New RS4 Avant on the Block

Post by steve_70 » Tue Nov 30, 2010 9:46 pm

After kissing many frogs and them being frogs, I have finally found my princess 8) 8)

Deal done today and what a negotiation Marathon it was, but being the last day of the month and the Audi Approved used car promotion offers I got the result I wanted at the 11th hour and more than happy with how it all turned out... Collect it on Saturday 8) 8)

...So which one did I get..... :D :D Drum Rolll.......

Thanks all... yes, 2nd test drive in snow was FUN and showed the immense practicaility and handling of this car.

I finally did a cracking deal on the Newbury one. With that said, massive thumbs up to Louise and Atif at Newbury Audi for Sunday and Today :thumb: ...couldn't ask for better service, it was like light and day the difference, all dealers shoud be like this.

Now I know I am going to be made eat my own words on my colour choice threads :bash: :bash: ...but this was just love at first sight, completely different to everything I have seen, which is why it completey changed my perception, and it just had that something about it.

So, its a Avus Silver Pearl, Black Optics, Titan Finish Wheels, Privacy, Buckets, 07 with 42k and one company MD owner, supplied by newbury originally.

Spec: ....probably missing bits
Avus Silver Pearl
Black Optics pack
technology pack
coming home pack
adaptive lights
Titanium finish wheels
privacy glass
Buckets
sat nav+
phone prep
will decode all the options codes and post-up
warranty repair free, apart from one shock
Long MOT expires Sept 2011
Just serviced - Service indicator says 12k till next one
All tyres have 5-6 mm tread left

Screen Price - 34950

Negotiated into the deal to ....

5.8 APR
2 years free servicing
New Discs/ Pads all round
GAP Insurance
Dog Guard
Tax

So I am more than happy.

Couldn' t have done it without the assistance of the forum, so big thank you to all :notworthy:

Great news Steve - pleased to hear you found the right one at last, even if it is silver! :bigblink:

If I'm around on Saturday maybe I can get a quick look once you've picked it up...might get to see yours as well Shane...?

Will have to get my cleaned though if that's the case....otherwise it'll look pretty shabby next to your gleaming new one!

Congrats again mate...
