18" wheel option for winter tyre fitment.

Post by drybeer » Mon Nov 29, 2010 7:41 pm

Does anyone have a set of these they want to to part with?

Specifically I'm meaning the 18" 9 spoke alloy wheel which was an original Audi part - not replicas.

Felt probably better to post here instead of classifieds to get the right target audience!

Thanks,

Andrew.

The OEM Winter are 5 spoke 18x7.5J but I guess the slightly wider 18s are more common one will do. I found my set on ebay.de and cost 800 euro inc TPMS and 4 tyres that had one season use on them, have a look on there.

drybeer - you would have to be careful that those wheels fit over your front brakes. I'm running 8x18 ET43 S-Line wheels, which are quite large on the inside, but still don't clear the brakes without spacers. luckily 15mm spacers make them clear the brakes, and correct the offset at the same time.

Thanks Dave.
It would be nicer if it was tidy, and didnt have the melted snow floating about on the floor.
And all the Wheels and tyres stacked up.
Cheers Al
