Not sure but 1st I've seen without them.
Just spoken the previous dealer and former owner of the one in Bournemouth and both of them spoke very highly of the car so fingers crossed I'll clinch that tomorrow. Chris (Mr Boons on here) the previous owner and great bloke gave me all it's past history and apart from having 4 or 5 previous owners it sounds fantastic. In his words it was mint. DRC replaced under warranty as were the seats (hence why they look so new). I also know there is plenty of room to manouver on price after our chat. I'll let you know how I get on if the weather holds out.
A big thanks to Chris and the guys at Performance Centre Group in Manchester for taking the time to talk to me.
I am SO excited

Shane

Also no heated rear seats.
is that common? wasn't standard was it?
AFAIK very few have heated rear seats. I had them on my previous S4 but realised that I so rarely had passengers in the rear so I didn't see the point of paying extra to heat seats that would rarely be used.

True.
Would it put you off having that many owners? It's never really bothered me tbh.

Shane, sounds positive on the Bournmouth car ... even if he bought it off another dealer, doesnt mean the selling dealer made a profit ... might of had to move it on cos it was aged and coming off funding
best of luck and look forward to the "I've bought an RS 4" thread !

From 10 yards it was stunning but does need a lot of tlc. I'll come up there with you if it@s the same one?

Thanks Shane, PM Sent
I can certainly do TLC and like a project if the car can be had at a price to reflect.

Road trip went well,
Saw 3. Black '06 57k £26995.00 Avant that I had to wait 30 minutes for as the dealer had to finish decorating at home. Nice and clean outside with new brakes and tyres but tired on the inside. Drivers seat in particular. Couldn't test it as the battery needed charging.
Avus '06 Saloon 50k £27995.00 - Looked nice on the outside but VERY tired on the inside. Dealer wasn't there and never answered his phone or returned my calls.
Daytona Saloon '07, 46k £27990.00 - Looked great particularly with SS+ and spacers. Interior was excellent and it drove like a dream - felt quite a bit quicker than the other two I've driven and still had that new feel.
Couple of things though. It's advertised as having Symphony 6 CD, Input voice control but it doesn't have either but does have a smart iPod dock. Has Vred's all round but the rears need replacing but it won't be like-for-like. I'll possibly get part worn P Zero's, Conti's or similar.
What do you think on mixing tyres? He's offered to replace all four with a matching set if I'd prefer.
Comes with 12 month's MOT, 4 months tax and next service is due in 10k miles.
Been a really positive experience with Merv Hannam thus far and Charlie is doing all he can to accomodate my requirements. Has offered to get the optics done black if I want, new rear pads and replace the rear/all four tyres.
Offered me £10.5k for mine which I'm more than happy with but because of that I doub't there will be much room for movement on priced based on the above.
Good deal?
Shane

shagga, it sounds like the daytona is a winner
There might not be much room in the price, but think about when the time comes to move it on...
You have SS+, 2007 model, and a brand new drivers seat which YOU can ensure stays new not like the tired examples you've seen ... Also the best colour ... Optics, a nice to have ... And can be vynl wrapped ...
Good p/x price also saves you hassle your side
Re. Tyres, why can you not replace the rears with vreds? I would not mix and match or get part worns ... Get two new vreds or get a brand new set of 4 and build that into final price.
From what I've read you need to close to the deal
Great news

Just checked the 46k advert and it does indeed say Symphony 6CD and Sat Nav, that would make it a quad DIN dash aperture

It amazes me such a prestigious dealer can't get his adverts right considering the legal implications of misdescription!
Are they really going to fit part worn tyres?
I'd keep looking, not sure why..
