Bexley Audi or Camberley for DRC fault?

Post by Coxall8395 » Sun Nov 21, 2010 11:34 am

Bexley Audi are half a mile away...Camberley slightly more!

Anyone had a good DRC experience with Bexley (although a good experience with DRC I appreciate is rare).

Thanks

Can't say I know Bexley at all - but I can vouch for Camberley - speak to Rob and Stuart will sort you out just fine. They have a LOT of DRC experience, all the tools, and are really helpful.

(That's another pint you owe me, Rob!!)

Don't know how the Budget is mate, but its best to replace with a set of Coilovers. Why have it replaced with something is just going to surely Fail Again!!! Cheers..............

Yes I agree with the coilovers. Will see what Camberley say the cost will be and then see what the warranty people say about the coilover route.

The v3 DRC is pretty bullet proof, though the pipes can go with age (as can brake pipes etc). The latest DRC's can be readily recharged even if they do lose pressure.

Coilies (like any standard shock absorber) will last about 60K - but very few have been on that long so far. Expect to start to see tales of woe on failing coilies in about two years time.......

Defo chicken - I'm not taking on your monster any time - I hate losing.....

Still I will be in for an MOT before Christmas so even if we can't do a beer, I' dring a cup of your free coffee!!

Keep up the good work

Well I should not have been surprised. All four shocks are goners. They are the originals mind. So now await waranty company response. On a happier note pleased to report Rob at Camberley very helpful. Much better care than BMW!!
