Time to go.....

Post by Nib » Fri Nov 12, 2010 5:41 pm

Well, that’s it. The car’s driven off with its new owner, bringing to an end three very happy years. All I’m left with is a small bottle of Titan GT1, some very happy memories & 6 points on my licence. :(

Looking back, what are my impressions of the RS4?

Performance: "Quite adequate". If it hasn’t got 414hp (and I believe it has, as measured by Audi) I really don’t care. As they say, if it’s not fast enough you’re not driving it properly.

Handling: For the ‘real World’ DRC is brilliant. A bit too much understeer but then it is a road car and manufacturers have to err on the side of caution. Besides, it’s the fashion these days. Does that torque really split like they say????

Dealers: Rob Chorley & Stuart Hunt rock! Hope these two & Camberley Audi get the recognition from Audi UK they deserve. If I’d had to rely upon the supplying dealer I’d probably have sold long before now.

Forum: Great source of useful info (some of which went straight over my head (thanks Arthur!)) but a little too much bickering. Still, what’s a forum for if you can’t speak freely?

Enjoy your cars guys & gals. The B7 RS4 is an all-time Audi ‘classic’.

It's been fun!

BYE!

Thanks Guys! I'm genuinely......."touched", but the less said about that the better!

No "new" car unfortunately. Just need to use the others in the garage a bit more

My car went to a wealthy lady who'll probably use it for shopping & the school run. Still, she paid full asking price, so I can't grumble :D

TTFN.
