The front lower arms are much the same.....I'll write a repair walkthrough tonight mate. Easy to do yourself. Arms will cost you around £56 each at your local motor factors or £158+vat from Audi.

Excellent, thankyou. You don't by chance have the part number from eurospares do you, I seem to have great difficultly navigating that site, lol.

Many thanks

I sent the ones from Euro Car Parts back as they didn't seat correctly in the hub. My local motor factors had them in stock. They are the same as a standard A6.

I'm trying to picture in the wheel arch, must be tired as I cannot remember . I think I need to take a wheel off to check and make sure what ones I need.

Ok heres that walk-through for changing the front lower suspension arm;

Tools required;

Car Jack
Axle Stand
18mm Socket & Rachet
18mm Long Spanner

1. Loosen road wheel nuts
2. Jack up car and place axel stand beneath
3. Remove road wheel
4. Slacken 18mm bolt on the underside of the suspension arm at the wheel hub and pop the arm out of the hub appature.
5. Slacken and remove 18mm bolt that runs through the middle of the suspension arm which holds the shock absorber in place.
6. Slacken and remove the 18mm bolts that hold the C shaped anti-roll bar mount in place. Remove the c mount.
7. Place the car jack under the front corner of the subframe and jack up slowly until it supports the weight.
8. Remove the 18mm subframe bolt.
9. Slacken the 18mm bolt that holds the suspension arm into the subframe. This bolt is extremely long therefore you need to SLOWLY drop the front subframe down using the car jack until it gives sufficient clearance to remove the bolt.
10. Remove the old suspension arm and fit the new one in reverse.
11. Job done!
