Hi, I have read a few people on here are running a 275/30/19 tyre, could you tell me if there is any rub with them atall? There going on an avant and I do have it fully loaded at times. Last thing I want is it to rub when I have 4 people with luggage in.
Really want to go for the wider tyre as think it will make it look far better

I'm running said tyres with rear spacers and have had 100+kgs of load in the boot with no rubbing on rears or fronts; should be good. On normal DRC as opposed to SS+

Ooo, ok. What size spacers are you running? I was just a little worried as I parked on un-even ground today which pushed the rear wheel up into the are. I could only just fit my finger between the wheel and the inside of the arch then so thought it would make that tyre size a no go!

Could be a chance of swopping to coilovers as I think the DRC shocks are leaking I take it it would still be ok? Thanks for your help, I cant help but worry they will rub!

10mm H&R hubcentrics. Coilovers may drop ride height too much to allow a heavy load and 275's but I can't really say as I don't have this set up. You'll still have a DRC warranty if less than 75k miles so go and get it fixed if you are worried or at least pressure tested. Dependent on dealer, they'll eithr do the test FOC or minimal charge. Pressure should be somewhere between 14 and 16 Bar.

P_G Ive contacted Audi Uk and my local dealer (Listers Audi) and they say there is no warranty on the DRC. My car is a 56 Reg with 35k so it outside of the original warranty are you saying they have extended the warranty due to issues? Who should I contact if thats correct? Thanks for your help, Ed

Search on here, there is a 5 year 75k mile DRC warranty and a letter from Jeremy Hicks at Audi UK to back this up so long your car has FASH.

No, not at all. Don't have spacers. Standard suspension. Used them with a quite a heavy loads around Europe etc - no probs. Great tyres (on my 2nd set).

I've driven back fully laden from France on a couple of wine trips with 275/30 19s and not had any rubbing at all.

I've been 275 30 19's without spacers and haven't had any issues at all. They're due to be changed and will be going for 275's again.
