A few bits and bats for sale

Post by mrboons » Thu Oct 21, 2010 12:46 pm

I've now sold my RS4 and after wiping away the last of my tears I've realised I've got a few bits and bats that may be of use to someone...

All prices are plus postage (let me know where to and I'll get you a price). Sensible offers also considered for any of these items.

RS4 leather document wallet (had a spare) - £15

Phatbox (boxed, mint condition with 20gb cartridge - some tunes left on whcih you an delete if you don't already own copyright  - and connection lead for RNS-E) - £90.

(If you don't need the lead then will do for £80, leads for other head units available on Ebay).

Genuine VAG 6 CD glovebox changer (for B7 glovebox) - £90.

Cheers
Chris

What info do you get on the RNSE screen with the Phatbox? Is it similar to what you get with a SD card?

How do you upload the songs to it?

Does it play Itunes format AACC??

If it doesn't sell with the phatbox, I would be interested in buying the lead for the RNS-E.
PM me if it becomes available please.

Cheers,
Des.

The RNSE doesn't display track names, but you do get a voice telling you what album / artist / track etc you have selected, which is quite cool. You basically get the same interface as the 6CD changer, with each 'CD' providing a different category - album play, artist play etc.

The songs are uploaded into a cartridge (basically a mini hard drive) which links up to your PC. All CDs, drivers, cables, cradles etc included. It can't play AAC, just MP3.

The phatbox was in a B7 before and has all leads to fix up to RNSE.

To quote Duncan Ballantyre... "I'm out" without the RNSE display its of no interest to me.
Thanks anyway
Steve
