Faulty aircon panel on RS2

Hi, new to the forum, so please go gentle on me! Had my RS2 for a couple of years without problem but yesterday morning when I turned the ignition switch, the panel to control the aircon and heater was completely blank. I checked every fuse in the main fusebox in scuttle panel under the bonnet but could not find any that had blown. Is there another fusebox or am I destined for a pricey trip to the main dealer for a replacement panel?
