what wheel sizes are you running? help needed!

Post by boondocksts » Wed Jan 28, 2004 12:18 am

I am convering my S4 sedan to widebody (because i love the looks of all of your RS4s so much but dont worry no RS4 badges on this car) and I was wondering what size wheels/tires you guys are running. I would like to get the widest possible wheels, is anyone running 10" or 10.5" for the width of the wheels? Thanks guys

Most people run 8.5" or 9". The trouble with any more than that is it rubs to buggery, especially on 19's. But it depends how far you're going to pull the arches out, and how much depth you give yourself in the actual arch itself. I suppose if the RS4 arches were rolled out slightly higher then you could get 10" on there.

Good luck, and don't forget to post some pics!!!

I have a friend of mine who did a conversion RS4 on his S4.
He chose this: 18×8.5-in. Sportec Wheels and 265/35-18 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup.

But, if you need bigger setup check out this guy.
