Newwwbie here..
Well i just thought id say hello on here as i might find the odd usable post on here..
O well i joinned the fold about three weeks ago. An true to new car purchases i have had a flat and the flipping brakes wont stop sqweeeling.
but i will get to the bottom of it..

Ha ha, yes s2 central is probably the best place for info. the tyre was just unlucky it was leaking at the rim had it re done today.lol an the brakes are dring me mad .. do you know if they shouls have anti sqweel shims inbetween the pads and pistons.scillyisles wrote:We tend to get a lot of posts from former S2 owners from some forum called S2Forum or such like.![]()
Can't help on the flat tyre but the squealing brakes are a common problem caused most probably by corroded pad back plates and build up of pad material.
put new pads in yesterday and the noise is even worse...

Yeah my noise is pads and discs though.. nodoubt that noise will happen a once i get rid of this noise lol.

Yes, but don't write this off as the cause. The build up occurs in the calpier which means the piston cannot retract back probably causing the pad to rub on the disc....pixsaudisex2 wrote:Yeah my noise is pads and discs though.. nodoubt that noise will happen a once i get rid of this noise lol.

new calipers on the car an i have done the old grid the edges of the pads and the noise has gone yeah....
