Main Dealer Service

Post by paulyd65 » Thu Sep 30, 2010 12:20 am

Hi All,

Usually the Audi main dealer servicing departments wherever thwy may be come in for a load of stcik but I have found one that were absolutely fabulous. They are namely Jack Barclay based in Southfields, South West London.

Headed to London from Durham on the M1 in my S4 yesterday. All was well until I got to London and then the car started to run abit rough and started to "miss". I have read about this before on here and suspected it might be a duff coilpack. (I was right!) The engine management light came on and then I promptly shat myself.

Looked on SATNAV for nearest main dealer and managed to make it to the above. Without an appointment, took my car, plugged it in, found he problem, and repaired it there and then. Cost was £35 fot the part. Didn't charge me labour.

Superb, Highly recommend. Proper service for a change without taking your eyes out in the price!

Well done Jack Barclay Audi.

Thats great service. Don't think there will be many main dealers who would do that.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

They're not all bad - I've never had a bad experience (in my 2 months of ownership mind). FiveOaks Audi in West Sussex were pretty helpful when the roof jammed on mine, and reset that for me for free.
Here's to hoping they'll install a coilpack for free, when it next happens... (2 down already - but nowhere near them at the time).
