Post by SKG_C63AMG » Mon Sep 20, 2010 7:26 pm

IVE RECENTLY HAD MY CAR SERVICED FROM MY LOCAL DEALER AND NEED SOME ASSISTANCE FROM SOME FELLOW RS4 B7 OWNERS.
CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT ENGINE OIL YOU ARE USING IF KNOWN AND CAN YOU ALSO LIST WHAT YOUR OIL TEMPRATURE RUNS AT WITH AND WITHOUT THE SPORT BUTTON PRESSED AND IF U LIVE IN THE UK.
ALL INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED TO RESOLVE MY CURRENT ISSUES.

the main information i need is your oil tempratures cheers

Mine came out of an Audi dealer with spare fill up of Shell Helix Ultra 5w-30 so I presume thats what they have in the block too.

It seems to run anywhere between 90 and 98 degrees with Sport button off.

97 average on a motorway, anywhere between 95 and 110 dependent on how agressive the driving is. Castrol Edge 5W-30.
