Seeing as there's no rush to be there now (no Concourse), I'll give the old girl a wash (that's the car not Ze Fuhrer!) in the morning and maybe bump into you en route...

Just took a peek on Street View, seems they're next door to a Porsche shop? Cool.
And checked Tonbridge's site out too, they do seem to have an R8 there. Think it's in grey...

Nice to meet up with a few of the old faces and some new ones, got em to code my central locking for free too.

A bonus was coming 2nd in a concours I didn't prep for and winning some valeting products.

Hi guys, it was good to meet new faces yesterday and get a free Audi Inspection to boot. I must say I thought the Audi technicians were really helpful. I wonder if my 50% of my next Service they handed out still stands for my car? Thats a mean looking machine Dave. They should put in the re-make of Mad Max

Was a good day in the end. Not just because of the weather.
Not knowing what to really expect, the highlight for me was the Tonbridge Audi Staff, especially the Master Tech's. Their knowledge was pretty impressive, but they also embrace modified cars too which was a turn up for the books, even to the point where they were offering some good advice.

Thank you to those that managed to make the day, I didn't realise that they were running the concours til that morning when I arrived. Would have made the judging even closer if you had prep'd her Dave 8) I think the tech had a soft spot for the Series 2 in the end  Was good to meet alot of you and put faces and cars to names, most of which i have got round the wrong way by now

Tonbridge Audi are already making plans for the next event. As soon as I know more, I will let you know 8) If there is something that you would want to see or do at the next one, what would it be? Just to get some ideas :D

He was just put out that I wouldn't let him play with 'Sarge'. Did let him do the locking though, think that got me 2nd?

Something like the SEAT Beach Volleyball girls would be a smart addition for the next one? Do Audi have an equivalent?

What's the 'talent' like in Kent?

If from Thanet, they have webbed fingers!

Rides in their demo cars would be good. I tried (in vain) for a go in a TTRS...
