£750 for the prestige cover, emmisions and entertainment FOC
£50 so I don't have to pay toward the parts

£50 excess on the claim
Marmite, do these 'extras' mean you won't have to pay percentage on parts?
I found the table below in their "Wear & Tear" policy. Gearbox would still be pricey, without the extras?

Mileage Parts Labour
Up to 60,000 miles 100% 100%
Up to 70,000 miles 90% 100%
Up to 80,000 miles 80% 100%
Up to 90,000 miles 70% 100%
Up to 100,000 miles 60% 100%
Over 100,000 miles 50% 100%

I'm signed up, £775 on a 105,000 mile car, who'd have thunk it?
I paid an extra £116 for 100% parts cost coverage. I didn't pay an inspection charge as it's currently under Audi/Mondial warranty AND it's getting serviced by Camberely Audi on the 23rd.

also bam_bam ... We won't be subject to the 90 day wear and tear exclusion as our cars are coming out of an equivalent warranty to the WD policy

Yeah, Wear & Tear is covered from the start of warranty. I had to push for the parts cover.

I have got to pay £50 excess, but they said wear and tear is not covered for 90days

They have just paid for my alternator to be repaired

Would they waive the parts % charge on a 100,000 mile car? I see yours is low mileage?

Just contacted them, yes they do for £50. I shall definitely be including this on the policy.

Oddly enough, I asked if I could use MRC to do any work, they said yes, as long as the labour is under £60 per hr.

Who is your warranty with? If it's Audi/Mondial just fill-in and tear off the change of ownership form at the end of the warranty booklet, 1st class stamp, done.

a little while ago I picked up a 6 with a WD policy on it. The previous owner did the paperwork and sent it off. Got a bit worried as I'd not heard from WD but called them up the other day and they have swapped it over in to my name no problem. Easy as that

I think WD are becoming a bit more friendly now most of the niggles (DRC mainly) have been ironed out on our cars. Only the gearbox to worry about i guess.
